About AnyTask
AnyTask is a task manager for people tired of overdesigned productivity systems. Built natively for iPhone, iPad, and Mac around the idea that capturing a task should be effortless and organizing it can wait. It's an independent app built by a solo developer, and it runs entirely on your device and in your iCloud — no servers, no accounts, no third parties holding your data.
The product
AnyTask is focused and feature-rich at the same time. Lists, tasks, subtasks, photos, links, due dates, recurring rules, inline natural-language date parsing, drag and drop between lists, a "+Task" lock-screen widget, a Sort mode for triage, native widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, Apple Calendar sync, and iCloud-based shared lists. Everything you need; nothing you don't.
It's built to be the task app you actually keep using — clean, native, and opinionated about restraint. The closest analog is Apple Reminders with the features you keep wishing it had.
How we work
AnyTask is independently built and self-funded. There are no investors, no growth team, no analytics-driven dark patterns. The roadmap is driven by the people actually using the app.
We don't have servers. The app talks to your device and to your iCloud — which means your tasks are private by design. There's nothing for us to breach, nothing to subpoena, and nothing to shut down.
Not affiliated with
"AnyTask" is an unfortunately common name. To be clear: this AnyTask — the iPhone/iPad/Mac task app at anytaskapp.com — is not affiliated with:
- AnyTask.com, the Electroneum-linked freelance marketplace (which shut down on April 14, 2026) — including its "AnyTask.com" App Store app and "AnyTask" Google Play app, both published under the developer name "AnyTask Ltd". Despite the shutdown, those listings still rank prominently in search results, so it's worth being explicit: this AnyTask is unrelated.
- AnyTasks.io, the AI-agents-and-humans task marketplace
If you're looking for any of those, the names are similar but the products are different.
